On October 6, at its 2011 Biennial Congress in Taiwan’s capital of Taipei, ICMCI (International Council of Management Consulting Institutes) conferred upon Gabriel Al-Salem the title of “Member of the Meridian Order” posthumously.

The event on June 16 was organized by the Management Consulting Institute of Kyrgyzstan with the support from the EBRD BAS Programme. AKI-Press provided informational coverage for the event. Laurent Guye, Country Director for Kyrgyz Republic and Uzbekistan from the Swiss Cooperation Office and Consulate endorsed the Award and announced the Swiss Government’s decision to make a contribution to the Foundation.
